Motogp looks back over the campaign of each premier class rider with a video which compiles the most pivotal moments of their year.
A very steady debut season from allowed the Paginas Amarillas Aspar rider to get to grips with the Ducati Desmosedici in admirable fashion, and his ability to finish all but one of the 18 rounds in 2010 – his DNF at Héctor Barberá Laguna Seca was due to a mechanical fault – aided his development in the premier class considerably.
A best finish of eighth at both Le Mans and in his home GP at Valencia were two of eight top-ten results that marked a consistent rookie season, one which earned Barberá another campaign with the Aspar team in 2011.
